Labor- the hourly rate for the crew is based on the number of movers and trucks required. We always assign the optimal number of movers to every job in order to minimize cost and maximize productivity. We have a minimum charge of 3 hours labor plus one hour travel time.

 

Travel Time- for local moves travel time considers the time it takes to travel to and from the job site. Miami Movers charges one hour travel time.

 

Packing Materials- The services of packing is performed at the same hourly rate as the move. You are only charged for the exact cost of boxes and other packing materials provided by the mover during the move. If you are packed up and ready to go, or provide your own adequate boxes and materials, you will not incur the additional expense. Miami Movers does not accept any goods in paper or plastic bags; all loose items, including televisions, electronics, lamps, pictures and mirrors must be boxed for safety and will not be carried. Written Binding Estimates- we also offer you the option of Written Binding Estimate. Meaning the price we quote is the price you pay! A Written Binding Estimate is the correct legal term for a “flat” or “guaranteed” price, as opposed to an hourly estimate. An on-site estimate is required in order for Miami Movers to provide a Written Binding Estimate.

 

Insurance- we offer Basic Liability Protection, which provides coverage limited to a maximum of $0.60 per pound per damaged article. This kind of basic coverage is designed to cover the mover’s basic liability and does not provide you with substantial protection. Basic Liability Protection is free of charge with your move. If you wish purchasing separate insurance policy to provide you with more substantial coverage, we refer you to our purchase additional insurance section.
